Welcome!I am so thrilled to announce the launch of my newest venture, Empower Her, Inc. an Empowerment Agency for women and girls that will focus on providing events, resources, and programs for women. My dream is to be able to provide women and girls the support and tools to celebrate and live their best lives!Through our mentoring program G.E.M.S. & Jewels Empowerment Group for girls I realized my passion for putting together events that would uplift girls in a world that is constantly tearing them down. Realizing my passion and gifts for putting together events that focus on empowerment has allowed me to step into a new area that will branch outside of the girls in our group and reach women and girls on a larger scale. When it comes to celebrations or events there are only a few things that really challenge our girls and women to be powerful. I reached the point where I was tired of seeing the typcial spa, diva and girls night out parties and wanted to offer more...parties and celebrations with a purpose! Celebrations that inspire you to reach for your dreams, passions and the resources to make them happen!Thank you for joining me on my mission to empower women and girls!Celebrating Life Everday,Kara NormanFounderFounder Bio:Kara Norman co-founded and serves as the Director of Programs for the Atlanta based mentoring group, G.E.M.S. and Jewels Empowerment Group for Girls. Kara's strong desire to empower the lives of girls and women started mostly as a young girl when she struggled with self-esteem. After quitting college due to a lack of confidence, Kara got married and started a family with her husband. After her two daughters were born, Kara went back to earn her bachelor's of science degree in psychology and graduated summa cum laude. During her studies, she chose to focus on women's issues. A seed was planted that not only fed her growing confidence, but eventually grew into her devotion to helping girls and women face today's myriad of challenges. All of these experiences have fueled Kara's passion to empower the lives of women and girls! Kara resides with her husband, and two daughters in Alpharetta, Georgia.
